Cats & Cocoa at Hogle Zoo on Saturday

Baby it's cold outside - and the big cats love it. Bring the family up to Utah's Hogle Zoo on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for Cats & Cocoa, at Asian Highlands.

Some animals, especially the big cats, love our Utah winters. The cooler temps have them showing off their thick, lush winter coats. This is great chance for an up-close view of the tigers, leopards and snow leopards. The keepers will be doing a training presentation at 11:30 a.m.- a behind-the-scenes peek at how they interact with the cats.

Enjoy a cup of free hot cocoa, while you watch the cat presentation, and have your little ones make a pinecone bird feeder, while supplies last - all free with a paid zoo admission.

Hogle Zoo is located at 2600 Sunnyside Avenue in Salt Lake City.
